He claimed that the IAS officers obstruct development works.
CM Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that 90% of IAS officers in Delhi “do not work” and has stated that at times he feels that development was “stuck up at Secretariat”.
On Bureaucrats’ alleged objection to regularisation of the contractual workers, Kejriwal further added that if Delhi had full statehood, his government would regularise all contractual employees within the 24 hours.
Delhi CM, was speaking at a function organised to felicitate the pensioners of Power Department, alleged that IAS officers “obstructed files” of the development works.
He further added that,”When I proposed the regularisation of the contractual employees, all officers opposed me. They stated that if regularised they won’t work. I said, if this is logic then all IAS officers should be ad-hoc because they do not work”.
While referring to cashless Health Service for Power Dept. Pensioners, Kejriwal stated that he has learnt that the officers were causing obstacles for scheme.
