They were found to be having more than two children in violation of the State Government’s Rules.
Madhya Pradesh HC has dismissed the two trainee lower court judges for having more than two children in violation of State Govt’s rules.
HC Registrar General Mohammed Fahim Anwar, has stated that,”Services of the Additional District (Trainee) Judge at Gwalior Manoj Kumar and the Additional District (trainee) Judge Ashraf Ali posted at Jabalpur stand terminated”.
Registrar further added that,”Action was taken for having violated two-child norm”.
Meeting of the High Court judges, presided over by Chief Justice, had given the final consent for the termination of services of these two judges on July 26,2017.
Both the Judges had joined service in 2016 through the recruitment test for post of Additional District Judge.
According to the Amendment to Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (General Condition of Services) Rules 1961, the Government officials face action if they are found to have had a third child post-January 26, 2001.
This is first time that High Court has taken such an action against the judges.
