Calcutta High Court Judge C S Karnan demands Rs 14 Crore compensation from Supreme Court Judges, Read Letter here

On Thursday, Calcutta High Court Judge Justice C S Karnan, who is facing contempt proceeding for his corruption allegations against the Judges of Madras High Court and Supreme Court, demanded compensation of Rs. 14 crore from the seven senior most judges of SC who have been hearing his contempt case.

The ground on which the compensation is sought is for “disturbing his mind and normal life”.

He also threatened the judges to withdraw their judicial and administrative work in case they failed to pay the compensation money in a week.

In his letter, Justice CS Karnan stated that,“Since you have disturbed my mind and my normal life, besides you have insulted me in general public consisting of a population of 120 crores in India due to lack of legal knowledge”.

He further alleges that suo motu contempt order is illegal and improper.

In the end he requests, Apex Court’s 7 judge bench to cancel the unconstitutional
