The CBI, Central Bureau of Investigation has approached the High Court Delhi to seek cancellation of bail granted to SP Tyagi former Indian Air Force (IAF) chief in AgustaWestland chopper deal Scam Case.
The High Court issued notice to Accused Tyagi and asked him to file a reply by January 3, 2017.
SP Tyagi is the first chief of any of the three wings of the armed forces to be arrested in the country. He along with two others were arrested for involvement in irregularities in the procurement of VVIP helicopters from AgustaWestland company.
On December 26 Accused Tyagi was granted bail by a trial court while castigating the CBI on its faliure to trace the complete Money Trail.
Tyagi was the Indian Air Force chief from 2004 to 2007 and he denied the charges of kickbacks.
