To train the personnel a centre will also be established in Hisar.
Reiterating his govt’s commitment towards safety & empowerment of women, Khattar said 2 years ago, on Raksha Bandhan, the Haryana govt. had decided to establish Women Police stations in all the districts of the state.
“These police stations have been established & approval has been given to establish such Police stations in 8 sub-divisions,” the CM said.
About 38 women help-desks are being operated at the sub-divisional level & these can be converted into full-fledged stations, if required, he added.
Creches will also be provided at women police stations for children of police personnel & also those in custody. A counsellor will also be appointed at these stations, he said.
