All the 12 Judges were given three month’s salary and reimbursements before handing them marching order.
On the recommendation of the Jharkhand High Court, Jharkhand Government has on Saturday notified compulsory retirement of 12 district judges serving in the State.
A Govt release said: “The Jharkhand High Court had reported that these judicial officers have dubious conduct and that on the issue of probity, they are being compulsorily retired”.
State government took the decision after the high court wrote a letter to the state government in this regard.
The name of the judicial officers who have been given compulsory retirement include District and Additional Sessions Judges-
Anil Kumar Singh (Lohardaga),
Girish Chandra Sinha (Daltonjanj),
Girijest Kumar Dubey (Garhwa),
Om Prakash Srivastav (Pakur),
Rajesh Kumar Pandey (Latehar) and
Umeshanand Mishra (Latehar).
The list also includes chief judicial magistrates namely-
Ram Jiyavan (Chaibasa) and
Ramjit Yadav (Sahibganj).
Other names are Ashok Kumar Singh, secretary of District Legal Services Authority in Garhwa,
Arun Kumar Gupta, number 2 principal judge of family court in Godda,
Rajnandan Rai, presiding officer at labour court in Hazaribag,
Yashwant Kumar Sahi, district and additional session’s judge-cum-special judge of fast track court (rape cases), Garhwa.
No matter how much corruption you have done it make no difference but if you are not in good book of powerful high court judge it is only sufficient for punishment .See justice kanan and CJ I mishra .. whether those judges are suddenly become dubious .What about some PDJ written ACR of other judges . Another thing why this not consider at time of promotion .
