Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notice to its Registrar (recruitment), on a plea alleging that leakage of preliminary examination question paper for recruitment of judicial officers in HCS (Judicial ).

The petition was filed by Suman of Pinjore in Panchkula district. She was seeking directions for the registration of a criminal case for uncovering alleged scam revolving around leakage.
On the previous date, High Court was told that HC administration had started a probe into allegations of leakage of preliminary examination paper.
Probe was ordered by the HC Administration on basis of a complaint received from the Petitioner Suman. Suman has claimed that she was a candidate for the Judicial Service Examination and had joined a private academy in Chandigarh to prepare for preliminary examination in May, 2017.
Sushila had joined the same academy and where they became friends. Petitioner had on a particular day requested Sushila for the audio recording of the lecture which she had missed but Sushila had inadvertently shared another audio recording in which she was talking to another woman, Sunita, who was stating that she could get her appointed as the Judicial Officer for Rs 1.5 crore. When asked, Sushila disclosed that she had a friend, namely Sunita, resident of Chandigarh, who manages to get examination passed for a consideration.
Petitioner further added that she was told by Sushila that she had finalised deal to get preliminary examination question paper for herself and even shared the 56 questions that would be there.
