Justice Dhingra report not leaked, we will take action on findings: says Haryana CM Khattar

April,29,2017:

The Commission had submitted its 182-page report to Khattar on August 31, 2016.

Justice SN Dhingra Commission Reporgra Commission had submitted its 182-page report to Khattar on August 31, 2016.

Action’ll be taken on findings of Justice S N Dhingra commission that probed the alleged irregularities in grant of land licences to a firm owned by son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Robert Vadra, Haryana CM Manohar Khattar said on Friday.

CM Manohar Khattar denied Congress’ allegation that the Commission’s report was leaked & said that the court should take cognizance of this particular matter as well.

CM’s response came after a media report claimed that Robert Vadra had been indicted by the Commission for making unlawful profits in a land deal in the year 2008.

CM Khattar said that the court hasn’t given permission to give public the report of the Commission, formed by his govt after coming to power in Oct. 2014.

This Commission was asked to probe the alleged irregularities in grant of the licences by the previous Chef Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress govt for development of housing societies, colonies & commercial complexes in 4 Gurgaon villages.

Robert Vadra’s Skylight Hospitality is among the firms under their scanner.

On Thursday Priyanka Gandhi had released a statement saying that her finances had absolutely nothing to do with those of her husband or his company Skylight Hospitality, which had made controversial land deals with DLF.

This statement from Priyanka Gandhi’s office came only after a query was made to Robert Vadra asking if a portion of the money that he had received from DLF was used by his wife Priyanka to buy properties in Faridabad, Haryana.

Commission had submitted its 182 page long report to CM Khattar on 31st August 2016.

The contents of this report are yet to be made public by the state govt.

Former CM Hooda had petitioned the HC challenging the constitutional validity of the panel and had accused the govt of resorting to a political vendetta.
