Beating all the odds, a 98-year-old man has cleared Masters in Economics examination from the Patna’s Nalanda Open University (NOU).

According to the University Rules there is no upper cap for pursuing Post Graduation Course.

Raj Kumar Vaishya passed MA (Economics) examination with a second division.

Raj Kumar was born on April 1, 1920, in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, he did his graduation from the Agra University in 1938 and got degree in Law in 1940.

He stated that,”Finally, I have fulfilled my long cherished dream. Earlier I could not achieve what I wanted to due to responsibilities of the children”.

Mr. Raj Kumar further added that,he decided to prove two years ago that even at this age, one can fulfil their dreams and achieve anything.

He has set an example for the millions of people, who use the age as an excuse to give up on their dreams.
