International Women’s Day is a very important day as per her.
There should be 1 day dedicated to men, Minister for Women & Child Development, Maneka Gandhi suggested to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
On Wednesday, Maneka Gandhi said at an award function to celebrate International Women’s Day that the Delhi CM has taken so many initiatives, he should now start men’s day in the state.
She said that International Women’s Day is an extremely important day and she feels that it’ll be just if there’s also 1 day in a year dedicated to men as well.
Maneka Gandhi was speaking at the Delhi Commission for Women Annual Awards.
She urged women in India to join Women & Child Development Ministry’s ‘I am equal’ campaign on Twitter.
She said, “We should start by saying – I am equal – & I am sure there’ll be equality 1 day”.
