Your behaviour is that of a lunatic, he wrote to the Judge.

Ram Jethmalani, Senior Lawyer blasted Calcutta HC judge Justice C.S. Karnan on Sunday, calling his behavior to be that of a “lunatic”.

In an open letter which was published on his website, Mr. Jethmalini reprimanded CS Karnan for calling Judiciary corrupt & aiming that recent bailable warrant against him was issued since he’s a dalit.

Ram Jethmalani in an open letter to Justice Karnan said “I am sorry to tell you that I am convinced you’ve lost your mind, your behavior is that of a lunatic & one day that may be the only defense available to you, though with no bright change of success.”

In January, Justice Karnan had called twenty judges in the Indian Judiciary corrupt & sought a probe against them to curb such “high corruption”. The court took suo-moto action on his statement & issued a notice to appear before it.

However, Justice CS Karnan refused to appear before the Apex Court on 10th March, following which a 7 judge Bench headed by CJI JS Khehar issued a warrant.
